Her kind, approachable nature makes her a favorite among both our team and clients alike. Shea

Meet Shea! Say hello to Shea– who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes! With a constant smile and an infectious positive energy, Shealynn brings a burst of sunshine to our team every day. Have you ever seen a dog do zoomies? Well, Shealynn tackles her to-do list just as fast – it’s like she has turbo boosters in her shoes! Shea has been a part of the Always Unleashed family for 7 years and continues to grow and excel in the dog care industry. Her dedication and passion for both the business and the pups we care for are unmatched. On top of her amazing work here, Shealynn recently graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Business Management – a true testament to her commitment to personal and professional growth. We’re lucky to have Shealynn leading the charge and making sure everything runs like clockwork!

Jessica

Meet Jessica! Jessica is our longest-tenured Ruff-er-ree, having been with us since 2012. Over the years, she’s become a true role model for our team, embodying the perfect combination of hard work, dedication, and expertise. Her approach to her work is nothing short of perfection, and her strong work ethic sets a high standard for everyone around her. Kind, considerate, fast, efficient, and thorough – Jessica is the ultimate team player. While she’s primarily worked nights in recent years, she’s recently been brightening up our days with her positive energy and incredible skill set. One of Jessica's standout talents is her natural ability with dogs – they absolutely love her! Whether it's offering comfort or providing top-notch care, Jess truly has a special connection with the pups. In addition to her amazing work with dogs, she’s also a talented groomer, bringing out the best in every pup she works with.

Sage

Meet Sage! Sage is one of the friendly faces you’ll often see in Tiny Town and at the Front Desk, where she brings a calm, caring energy to every shift. You’ll recognize her right away by her sweet demeanor, bright smile, and the genuine warmth she shows to both pups and people alike. She’s truly a pleasure to be around and a favorite among our team. Sage has worked with dogs for quite some time and has a natural ability to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

Outside of Always Unleashed, Sage is also an actress and has appeared in several movies—an incredible talent we love celebrating! Her creativity, confidence, and compassion shine through in everything she does.

Sam

Meet Sam! Sam has been a valued team member in Tiny Town for about six years, and you’ll also often find her spending time in the Hound Lounge, where she loves working with pups of all sizes.

There’s no guessing what Sam’s favorite thing is—she absolutely cannot resist dogs! They’ve completely captured her heart. Sam has been working in this doggie paradise for about six years, and each day is filled with wagging tails, happy zoomies, and plenty of wet-nose boops.

In addition to her hands-on work with the pups, Sam plays a huge role in our social media presence, always capturing amazing photos and videos that help showcase the joy, personality, and fun that happens here every day. Her creativity helps bring our doggie paradise to life for our community online.

Valerie

Meet Val! Val is usually the first smiling face you’ll see at Always Unleashed. She genuinely loves working with dogs of all kinds—big, small, shy, or wild—and takes a little extra pride in remembering every pup’s name (and their favorite scratches).

Val recently graduated from Grand Canyon University (GCU), and we couldn’t be more proud of her! Being part of the Always Unleashed Pet Resort team means treating every dog and pet parent like family, and Val is always happy to help in any way she can. For her, it’s simple: if your dog is happy, she’s happy—with maybe a few extra belly rubs along the way.

Tierra

Meet Tierra! Tierra is one of our incredibly loving Big Dog Yard team members and a true asset to our pack. She’s highly detail-oriented and always gets the job done right—you could definitely call her a perfectionist in the best way.

Tierra cherishes every single pup in the yard and brings so much care and intention into her work each day. She’s extremely observant and has a natural ability to notice the small details that make each dog unique, helping ensure every pup feels safe, understood, and loved. Her intelligence, dedication, and genuine compassion make her truly amazing, and we’re so lucky to have her as part of our team.

Sterling

Meet Sterling! Let us introduce Sterling, a valued member of our exceptional team who specializes in caring for our beloved large dogs. Sterling’s expertise goes beyond his skills—he has a natural, personal connection with every dog he meets. As the proud owner of two pups himself, he truly understands the unique needs of our furry friends. Sterling has been with us for almost 3 years, and in that time, he’s built strong bonds with the dogs and has become a favorite among our clients. His genuine love for animals and dedication to their well-being make him an outstanding member of our team. The pups absolutely adore him, and it's clear that Sterling’s passion for dogs shines through in everything he does. We’re thrilled to have such a caring and skilled team member like Sterling with us!

Joey

Meet Joey! Joey is one of our awesome Big Dog Yard team members and brings a unique mix of strength, experience, and knowledge to the yard. He’s athletic, hands-on, and has an extensive background working in the veterinary field.

Before joining our team, Joey worked as a veterinary technician in Flagstaff, and when he made the move down, we were quick to scoop him up. His veterinary experience truly makes a difference—he has a sharp eye for dog behavior, health, and safety, and his calm, confident presence helps keep the yard running smoothly.

Joey is incredibly knowledgeable, dependable, and always ready to jump in where needed. Most importantly, he’s genuinely loving with all the pups and treats every dog with patience, care, and respect.

Caleb

Meet Caleb! Caleb is one of the heart and soul members of our yard team at Always Unleashed. His passion for dogs shines through in everything he does, and he brings an incredible warmth and kindness to every pup he works with. You’ll instantly know it’s Caleb because he treats each dog like they’re his own, with patience, care, and love. Outside of work, Caleb is in the exciting process of training his own puppy, further deepening his bond with dogs. His dedication to understanding and supporting their needs makes him a true asset to our team and a joy to be around. We’re lucky to have Caleb as part of our Always Unleashed family, and we know your pup will love spending time with him!

Kaylee

Meet Kaylee! Born and raised right here in Arizona, Kaylee grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals, which sparked her lifelong love for working with pups. She’s incredibly passionate about the health, safety, and overall well-being of every dog in our care.

You’ll most often see Kaylee at the front desk, greeting both pups and their owners with a friendly smile, but she’s also hands-on throughout the resort. From spending time in the big dog yard to helping care for our little ones in Tiny Town, she loves being involved wherever she’s needed.

Her favorite part of the day is seeing dogs reunited with their owners—those happy, tail-wagging moments never get old for her. Kaylee’s goal is to help create an ideal, stress-free experience for both our two-legged and four-legged clients, and she brings that care into everything she does.
